Homicide unit investigating suspicious death

Homicide detectives are investigating after a woman discovered in a laneway behind Dufferin Mall succumbed to her injuries Friday night.
Police said the woman was found suffering from head injuries on Chesley Avenue shortly after 6:30 p.m.
Police have secured the scene and are trying to determine how the woman received the injuries.
