Toronto police have charged a man in connection with a series of bank robberies.
According to police, over the past several months the accused robbed numerous banks across the city.
Police said the suspect would approach a bank employee and, indicating that he was armed with a gun, make a demand for cash.
On Monday, Nov. 7, police arrested Ryan Brereton, 34, of Toronto.
Brereton is charged with 18 counts of robbery and wearing a disguise with intent.
He was scheduled to appear in court today.
