Dogs took over the catwalk today in downtown Toronto, strutting their stuff in pup-sized tuxedos, tutus and tiaras.

Tiny pooches impersonated the royal couple, while others came as pop stars Justin Bieber and Michael Jackson.

The festival is expected to draw more than 260,000 people and their canine companions on June 11 and 12.

One dog will have a VIP spot at the event: today's winner, Loki, an Italian mastiff dressed like Natalie Portman's Black Swan in a sequinned tutu and mask.
